“Opening of the Tallinn University of Technology landmark”

On September 18, 2017, when Tallinn University of Technology celebrated its 99th anniversary, the landmark of Tallinn University of Technology was opened in Mustamäe, next to the Akadeemia tee roundabout.

AS Talot is pleased that we had the opportunity to contribute to the completion of such a special object.
The central part of the landmark – a black concrete beam – was cast in AS Talot’s reinforced concrete production unit using pigmented concrete filled with black granite gravel.
What makes the product special is its 16.5-meter length and approx. 20-ton weight.
The landmark was designed by Ülle Grišakov and designed by TUT graduate Margus Triibmann. The landmark was built by Tabasalu Meistrid OÜ.
